The research results of the output voltage spectra of frequency shifters used to control the induction motor rotation speed, are presented. A method is proposed to form the output voltage with absolute prevalence of the under frequency harmonic component relative to the network one. The method allows to vary the output voltage amplitude within the required range. The modifications of the proposed method realisation are considered.
