Heat transfer model taking into consideration the interacting radiation and convection, is proposed. The generalised integral relationships are used for designing. The dependencies for turbulent boundary layer for radiation- convective heat transfer are derived. Exact solutions are obtained and analysed for the streamlined axially symmetric bodies with arbitrary longitudinal curvature of the surface. Heat flux profiles for the turbulent boundary layer are obtained depending on the part of radiation in the complex heat transfer as well as on the shape of streamlined surface. Application results of the derived theoretical relations for designing the combustion chambers of high-speed diesel engines, are presented. Comparison of design and testing results confirm reliability of the proposed model.
