Based on the solution to non-stationary Navier-Stokes equations for incompressible flow, structures of a separated flow are investigated on the side surface of a flying vehicle near the stabilizing and control devices. Aerodynamic characteristics are obtained for various configurations, whose efficiencies are determined. Drag coefficient values are analyzed as functions of a shape of the head and tail parts and a body lengthening.
