Natural Oscillations of Liquid Propellant under Redistribution Conditions

A problem is considered, which is generated by the task of propellant redistribution in tanks of carrier rockets of packet scheme in order to yield the maximum increment in power characteristics during the payload injection. It is shown that both damped oscillations and aperiodic modes of motion can coexist in the liquid that fills partially an immobile tank of arbitrary shape under redistribution conditions.
