A scheme of forming the part profile using a composition of cycloid forming trajectories is given. The mathematical apparatus is presented for determination of a configuration of the cycloid polyhedron profile of the part depending on geometric parameters of the technological hitching scheme, tool geometry, longitudinal tool advance, relation between angular rotation speeds of the tool and the part in magnitude and mutual direction.
