Control Law of All-Wheel Steering for Multiaxis Wheeled Vehicles

The urgency of using the all-wheel steering systems for the multiaxis wheeled machinery is substantiated. The problem state and the prospective research area are described. The analysis of efficiency of the known control laws of all-wheel steering is presented on the basis of results of numerical simulationof dynamics of a wheeled vehicle. A new control law of all-wheel steering (the adaptive control of the electromechanical transmission of a wheeled vehicle with the individual drive) is given, and certain results of theoretical studies proving its efficiency for implementation in all-wheel steering systems of multiaxis wheeled complexes are presented. The area of further investigations is outlined.
