Active method to lower noise of internal combustion engine exhaust gases

An adaptive system is considered to actively suppress the noise periodic components while using an impulse reference signal. Efficiency of noise suppression and the system stability in relation to its characteristics, are analyzed. The results of experimental investigation of the transportation internal combustion engine exhaust gases noise suppression active system pilot variant, are given.
