Method of Design of Linear Systems with Unilateral Constraints in Static Loading

A new method of design of elastic systems with unilateral constraints is suggested on the basis of introduction of restoring forces into the system. The forces are applied to the system at points under the constraints for which the unilateral contact conditions are not satisfied. The restoring forces are simultaneously applied to all "false" constraints. The comparative analysis of efficiency of the suggested method and method of attempts is conducted by example of calculation of the force interaction among elastic links of the strain wave gearing.
