The chemical relaxation of generator’s gas in the liquid bipropellant CH4/O2 gas generator has been examined. Two cases of generator’s gas were analyzed: oxidizer rich and fuel-rich. It is shown that while characteristics of oxidizer-rich generator’s gas are close to equilibrious, the composition and temperature of methane-rich generator’s gas are essentially non-equilibrious.
