Simulation of Evaporation of Polydisperse Aggregate of Water Drops in Combustion Chamber of Hydro-Jet Engine

A technique is given for calculation of basic characteristics of processes of water supply and evaporation of polydisperse aggregate of drops in the combustion chamber of hydro-jet engine. The space-time characteristics for dynamics of water drop evaporation are obtained, and it is found that the consideration for the drops’ polydisperse composition and their distributions with respect to speed and temperature allows one to improve the accuracy of mathematical simulation, which is confirmed by comparison with experimental data.
