A method and device for measuring the solid particle velocity in the bi-phase gas flow are presented. Results of experimental determination of the velocities are given for the pressure- ejection device of jet comminutors with central supply of the material to be comminuted. The data have allowed practical recommendations to be formulated on optimizing a length of an acceleration pipe for a device of this type.
