Based on the theoretical and experimental research, it is shown that effect of error in setting up the closed height of the crank press on the height error of forged pieces, produced by the cold three-dimensional stamping depends on the rigidity of both forged pieces and press-stamp system. Effect of error in setting up the pressure of hydraulic press on the precision of forged pieces only depends on the rigidity of forged pieces. In both cases, effect of the setting-up errors on the precision of forged pieces decreases with their rigidity increase.
