Investigation of Thermal and Elastic Contact Interaction in Frictional Mating

An equation of thermal and elastic frictional contact of the elastic wavy surface with the absolutely rigid smooth surface is given. Using a computing experiment the influence of complex parameters on the load distribution is investigated with a linear law of the sliding velocity change and a constant law of the contacting surfaces approach. The investigation results may be used in estimation of durability of frictional mated elements.
