Study of Deformation Type in the Area of Chip Formation in Case of Cutting with Leading Plastic Deforming

Analytical relationships are given for computational determination of geometric parameters and orientation in the chip root of the rectangular dividing grid after two consecutive large plastic deformations. A pattern of the stress and strain state of the material, obtained using the dividing micro-grid method (a side of the cell's square is 60 ?m), is presented. The computed deformation patterns are compared with the appropriate experimental data recorded in the area of chip formation
