A problem of creating transport aids of the large weight-carrying capacity to move along the low-bearing soil and snow under conditions of the purely off-highway of the Russian North is considered. The application of non-traditional movers that have the displacement pneumatic shells of ultra low pressure and large volume is proposed as a solution to the problem. The principally new kind of a mover is discussed that has been invented in the process of solving the stated problem and specially destined for creating the large-tonnage amphibian-landrover transport aids exerting ultra low pressure on the soil.
