Improvement of Fuel Economy of Ship’s Engine at Operation Modes with Increase of Maximal Cycle Pressure

Possibilities to improve the operation characteristics of a ship's diesel with an air supply by an increase of a limiting value of the maximal cycle pressure are investigated. The "16ChN26/26" engine manufactured by the joint stock company "Kolomenskii zavod" is chosen as an object for the numerical experiment.
