Numerical Analysis of Large Planar Strains of Arched Shock-Damper

The governing relationships from the incremental theory of analysis of large planar strains are presented for the rubber part of the arched shock-damper. The model of compressible Neo-Hooke’s material is applied for description of elasticity of the rubber. Results of calculation of load characteristics of shock-dampers, the stress and strain fields in the rubber part are given. The influence of low rubber compressibility on the design characteristics of shock-dampers is analyzed.
