The influence of tool torsion vibrations on the process of vibration-drilling is investigated. Equations of forming surfaces are derived. For drilling with continuous chip the stability analysis is performed and boundaries of the dynamical stability area are constructed in the analytical form. Using the method of setting up, the dynamical stability areas and bifurcation diagram for the process without the external excitation are obtained, by which the most important parameters and their relations were revealed for the selection of a model.
