Methods are considered for designing one- and two-axial thermoneutral and also thermally isotropic sandwich-type composite structures of precision constructions. It is shown that for each type of material and reinforcement structure there is a uniquely defined area of possible values thermal coefficients of linear extension. Calculation relationships of thermal and elastic characteristics of one-directional material are given which provide thermal neutrality of the reinforced structure. Results of analyzing the possibility to create the thermally stable structures based on carbon fiber reinforced plastics with different fiber types are presented.
