A new approach to development of specimens of vacuum and pneumatic electromechanical equipment is considered which makes it possible to substantially shorten the time and financial expenditures at the stage of development and thus to significantly improve their competitiveness. This approach provides the integration of possibilities of the mathematical simulation of working processes and numerical experiment, 3D simulation, rapid prototyping technology and physical experiment.
