Abstract
Vertical drop tests are a stage in which the operation of the cargo airdrop landing equipment damper system functioning. At the same time, the conditions of the vertical landing of the cargo parachute must be reproduced from the safety point of view. In order to assess the impact of the parachute system on the compression process of the shock absorption system during the cargo drop test, it is necessary to determine the initial drop parameters. This article describes the method of the calculation drop parameters evaluation that allows us to reproduce the dampers system regime of work in case of the cargo is supported by the parachute system, from the landing characteristics point of view. The considering mathematical model consists of the well-known models of the parachute, suspension and air damper systems. It is described the algorithm of the safety landing characteristics determination for the cargo landing mathematical model. The method of the equivalent vertical drop test parameters evaluation is developed. It is considered the tasks when we define the cargo vertical drop test regimes equivalent to its parachute landing in aspect of the following criteria: equality between the maximal overloads values, to reproduce the maximal acting shock influence; equality between the maximal pressures values in dampers to evaluate their strength; maximal matching of the landing overloads characteristics to form the equivalent shock influence impulse that passes from the dampers system to the cargo with crew on board
