Abstract
The article describes a method for selecting the main parameters of axial microturbines for driving low-power units at the initial design stage. The number of stages and the value of the turbine load parameter are selected; the values of the height and degree of partiality of the fixed blade rows, the angle of flow exit from the nozzle guide vane, the upper and lower overlap. They largely determine the turbine's appearance, geometric parameters, and energy efficiency. When developing the method, the working process features of the turbine class under consideration were taken into account: almost zero degree of reaction, extremely low blade heights, partial supply of the working fluid, opening of the gas jet in the meridional plane at the outlet of the NGV. The implementation of the technique makes it possible to make a rational choice of the turbine low of swirl, determine its configuration in the meridional section and the main geometric parameters of the profile blade rows, as well as find the expected values of the main energy and gas dynamic parameters. The created method was tested for the design of two variants of a two-stage aggregate microturbines. It has been found that the use of constant-height blade sections reduces the turbine's efficiency by no more than 0.4 %
